Sweet Em Stitches Update

I've been so lucky to be very busy in the monogramming world.  My world is a small world, but it's a world.

Between my own orders, personal items and now monogramming for a local shop in town (SO EXCITING), I've been working!

Which I need to say THANK YOU since many of you have placed these orders with me!  I love sewing each and every one.

Holiday Attire

Blogging break for a family issue.  Sometimes my thoughts just has to take a back seat.

In case you wanted to see what Emily is up to this month (or last month) here are the kids ready for dinner after services.  Not to discount Evan.  He is as smart and cute as always.  Even said the blessings at the table in front of 30 people.  I could not believe it!

I am so happy with the dress I bought at a new kids store in our village.  The owner is a friend of mine and son went to Evan's school.  I like to say we are friends.  She is so sweet and I love everything in her classic style store.  Smocks and Kissy Kissy galore!  Wait until you see Evan's "Anna" sweater.  Amazing and a little out of my comfort zone but I love it.

I bought this dress and did my own monogram.  Personal, dressy or can be dressed down and adorable.

Love these kids.

Lots and lots of new teeth.  Two on bottom next to the middle two, one on top and some molars and I think a molar or two on bottom.  Fun times.

Seriously, always on the move.

Definitely pulling up to knees and feet with support.

Not standing yet, but getting close.

All she wants to do is crawl and reach into things and tear them apart or throw them out.  Especially shoes.

As you know, I've started a teeny, tiny, monogramming and appliqué business.  More like short order business, favors for friends.

I am so thankful for all of you that have been ordering, requesting and having babies for me to make more and more gifts.

Until I decide what direction to go, I have created a blog with posts of my designs.

This will be an easier catalogue to see fonts, thread colors, designs and items that I can do.  As always, I am up for a challenge or new design, so just let me know what you are looking for if you don't see it!

It is still a (major) work in progress so there are details missing.  You will see most of the finished products are posted.  I will be working to get more information attached to the pictures but you can always email me.

Everything is changeable, these are just past projects.  Color, size, font, arrangement, design, product and just about anything else can be changed!

{Sweet Stitches} Baby Gift Order: Chevron, Luvies and Polka Dots

I don't usually do items that someone provides, but luckily my machine totally cooperated and I didn't have to reorder anything.

Super cute products, super cute names.

I thought this order came out so great!

It shows you how easy it is to turn a $15 gift into a $30+ gift with a little color and personalization.  At least in my opinion.

We couldn't decide on a good color for the giraffe with out it being too much overkill on pink or get lost in the spots.  The beige looks very nice in person.

I loved these bibs so much I ordered one for Emily to practice on.  

I also wanted to test out my machine on the luvie material so I used one that Emily uses every night.

{Sweet Stitches} More Baby Orders

I love when a friend gives me an order but says do whatever.  Then I get to play around with new fonts, fabrics and appliqués.  This was fun.

I have someone sending me a few of these adorable chevron bibs (buy here) to monogram for baby gifts.  I figured Emily could also use this bright color for summer and that way I can practice on this thick material before ruining one of the customer's first.  Emily only wants to feed herself these days so bibs are playing a very important part in meal time.  Worked out great!
