Emily at the River

While at Dad's house over the holidays I caught Emily watching out their front window while Sue, Evan and Anna were throwing the frisbee.
Which by the way, Evan is getting much better at. Anna, not so patient, but I appreciate her letting him jump in and try.

What I saw was her waiting for my Dad to pull in. What a normal person sees is probably a sweet girl enjoying the country view.

This one reminded me of this from when Evan was a baby.

Snow Day Fun

We've only been back to school for two weeks and already had a few snow days.

So far, I haven't minded. But I better be careful what I say. Our town is covered in a sheet of ice the past two days. Ice is not fun and seems to be even more dangerous because people go out.

First braids. Wasn't easy but looks super sweet.

They LOVES this book.

Neighbors came over for a little front yard sledding fun!

Sweet Em Stitches Update

I've been so lucky to be very busy in the monogramming world. My world is a small world, but it's a world.

Between my own orders, personal items and now monogramming for a local shop in town (SO EXCITING), I've been working!

Holiday Attire

Blogging break for a family issue. Sometimes my thoughts just has to take a back seat.

In case you wanted to see what Emily is up to this month (or last month) here are the kids ready for dinner after services. Not to discount Evan. He is as smart and cute as always. Even said the blessings at the table in front of 30 people. I could not believe it!

I am so happy with the dress I bought at a new kids store in our village. The owner is a friend of mine and son went to Evan's school. I like to say we are friends. She is so sweet and I love everything in her classic style store. Smocks and Kissy Kissy galore! Wait until you see Evan's "Anna" sweater. Amazing and a little out of my comfort zone but I love it.

I bought this dress and did my own monogram. Personal, dressy or can be dressed down and adorable.

Love these kids.

Lots and lots of new teeth. Two on bottom next to the middle two, one on top and some molars and I think a molar or two on bottom. Fun times.

Seriously, always on the move.

Definitely pulling up to knees and feet with support.

Not standing yet, but getting close.

All she wants to do is crawl and reach into things and tear them apart or throw them out. Especially shoes.

Eric Carle @ Gymboree

We are big fans of Eric Carle in this house.

The Hungry Caterpillar and Brown Bear are probably the two most popular books since Evan was a baby and now Emily's most recognizable read.

I was so excited to pick up some up Gymboree's Eric Carle PJs line. So cute!!!

They were also doing a special story time and craft at the store last week. Evan made the most adorable caterpillar while the awesome salesgirl read a few books.

Helped me to just shop more, helped them sell more.

Getting Into Gear and Summer Recap

So many breaks, so many busy mornings.

Emily now gets physical therapy twice a week and a special teacher once a week, all usually in the mornings before 10am. That doesn't leave much time for blogging while breakfast or even breakfast these past weeks.

I hope (I need) to be back on a schedule when school starts next week and blogging will resume.

I sure have enough to talk about!
