This year I was determined to buy a perfect bathing suit.
When I say perfect I mean one that fits, doesn't slide down easily when keeping up with a 4 year old in the water, covers all necessary areas (and there are a few), doesn't scream "look at this belly from two kids", good quality and can't really be considered a "mom suit".
I searched, and searched, and searched! It was not easy.
To make this short and sweet.
Athleta was the winner. Over and over and over.
Athleta has suits geared toward sports but also fashionable, comfortable and most of all very supportive.

A ton of options, combinations, styles and fun patterns. The sales people were EXTREMELY helpful (at the Town & Country location in Houston) and they have a return anytime policy. Don't like the fit? Return it. Don't like how it kept up? Return it. I kind of draw the line at returning swimwear but nice to know their policy.
These were my final picks. Although with their current sale of an additional 20% off sale prices it is hard not to keep adding more.
These petal shorts are a MUST. Sold out in the blue color I purchased but any color would be great. Has a built in bikini bottom inside.
My "fun" swimsuit is made by
Shoshanna. I love it although it is not as supportive as my Athleta finds. Great quality and Shoshanna is known for her cup size tops for better fits and complimenting your body type. Also goes with some of my Athleta buys so I can still mix and match.
And yes, I look exactly like that in mine.
